Not a lot going on

There really is not a lot going on around here. Been spending time playing games with my son a lot. Now that he is here I try to spend all the time I can with him, not to hard since he is living with us. We did have 7 babies hatch here a week or so ago, that gives us a grant total of 40 chickens and still more roosters than we need. We are talking of buying some form one of the hatcheries here this next spring to get a few different breeds. Most of what I have at this point are barnyard mutts. We avg. 9 to 10 eggs a day, but that should go down with molt coming.
My husband did bring a new cat home and he named it BoBo. He is a great kitten at around 4 to 6 month of age. We have already taken him to the vet and got him fixed and a checkup to make sure he was health and he passed with fling colors. Will post a pic later on so that every one can see what he looks like.
Now that fall is getting here we have turned off the AC and are keeping the window open and running the attic fan in the day for it is to loud at night for me to sleep. It rained for three days here and that was great for it was a nice soaker rain that we really needed.
Will be starting to work on crafts again now that it is no longer to hot to have a afghan on the lap. Will be working on smaller stuff too but all depends on what I want to work on at that time. I do have a scarf that I have to get done for my sister before it gets to cold, just have to get more supplies for it. I might make a hat to go with it. It is also time to start all the baking that I love to do since that will help warm up the house. We try  not to use the heater unless we really  have to, we do have a wood stove and we will be using that a lot.
We did have a house warming party but only one person came. When I told my sister she said she would get a hold of the family and make it right. We will see if she remembers.
